Nametap is an online auction service. They started in 2022 and engaged us to build a platform to manage auctions submissions, reviews, and post sale processing. Initially they auctioned all listing live and are transitioning to a fully digital platform with all auctions occurring exclusively though the website.
Initially we were engaged just to manage the auction submission process and to connect buyers and sellers after the sale to complete the transaction. In 2023 they re-engaged us to add built in payments using Stripe Connect, PayPal for Marketplaces, and Escrow.com's Partner Program, and to start accepting bids for auction items though their website. We also needed to add anti-fraud measures to ensure the integrity of their marketplace.
The platform is built on the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine JS, Laravel, Livewire) like most of our projects. We started with the Jetstream starter kit, added listing management capabilities, then digital bidding though the website, order management, and payments. We added administrative capabilities for the owners using the TALL stack based Filament panel.
The platform has managed thousands of listings across hundreds of users within it's first year of operations. As the newest features are going live the owners no longer have to manually do live auctions and can instead focus on marketing and growing their platform.
